start by etching the concrete with muratic acid. this should remove a lot of the sealer and etch the top layer of cement leaving some exposed aggregate so as to stop all of the slipping. Then look into a new finish. check out Kool Crete

PLease Help
Asked by Darla DunnWe have had a pool 20 years . 15 years ago we stained the concrete around pool. 2 years ago , I went to get new stain, the specialist told me that I needed a solvent based solid colored sealer. I got 5 gallons and put it down. VERY BIG mistake. As soon as it got wet, it was as slippery as walking on ice. I fell and so did everybody else that walked out there. We closed the pool. now wanting to fix this issue Just not sure how. Can you Guide me please.
