Composting or an incinerator are the only type you can use - you can not pump black water into a storm drain which rules out a regular one or even macerating. For more on composting toilets: http://thehtrc.com/2011/going-off-grid-21st-century-composting-toilet

Question
How can I install a toilet in my existing poolhouse, where I have (cold) running water & access to a storm sewer, but not to a sanitary sewe
Asked by Sheila B.The poolhouse has a concrete floor. The pool filter drains into the storm sewer. Trenching & tying in to my home sanitary sewer is not an option due to grade, buried electric, cable, gas lines & sprinkler system, as well as location ( sewer ties in on the opposite side of house ). The prior owners put in a porta-potty; I am looking for a more aesthetically pleasing solution. Incinerator toilet? Grinder/macerator plus ___? Some sort of filtration? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
