Green Remodels

Reading about green residential remodeling concepts is great but nothing can substitute for real world application. REGREEN's "Green Remodels" section provides extensive detail on the methods and specific challenges of green residential remodeling. It’s divided into three parts: REGREEN basics, projects and case studies. The REGREEN Basics contain exactly that…pre-project issues you should consider before beginning any job. The REGREEN Project section contains general information about the nature and type of remodeling job (kitchen, bath, etc) as well as overviews of actual projects featured in the REGREEN guidelines. The Case Study section offers geographically specific examples that drill down in greater detail. Of course, every remodel is different so we’ll be continuing to add case studies on an ongoing basis for your reference. Learn More

For those advanced learners who want to know about the environmental impact of your furniture and cabinetry choices, passive cooling strategies or the vapor profile of various wall materials, we’ve got that too.
