As a Green Building consultant, I like to make the connection of going beyond what I think is possible, in all situations. We just finished a custom home which has a "beyond platinum" rating of 150 pts even though there is only 122.5 pts available in the current system. We also just finished a 65 unit affordable housing project that was GreenPoint rated at 218 pts. This is one of the highest ratings for this building type.
