The company was founded in late 2006. Specialize in providing whole project energy efficiency and other sustainability advice for new homes, renovation projects and existing homes integrating all components from building envelope to energy sources to appliances. All projects are green home projects. Consult with homeowners on improving the sustainability of their homes, including existing homes, renovations and new custom homes. For instance, upon being retained for a major project, we meet with the homeowner to discuss goals, analyze architectural plans and make recommendations in a written report for improving energy efficiency, water conservation, air quality and recycling. GHC is then a resource for contractors and other providers of services such as geothermal and HVAC designers, solar contractors, and insulation contractors. We can recommend energy efficient appliances and lighting for clients. First completed project was in 2007. We do not yet have any green accreditations although we work with services professionals who have these accreditations.
