We became involved with radon after identifying radon as the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer, after smoking, in the US according to the Surgeon General. I have seen and heard of individuals that have never smoked aquire lung cancer and often it can be traced back to high levels of radon in the home. Living green means having a safe interior environment in the home, especially when the home is closed up for the cooler winter months. The same can be said of mold. Most molds are irritants, but a few are hazardous to your health. We believe that when someone buys or has been living in their home, townhome or condo, the interior living environment is just as important to your health as using green materials when building or renovating a person's home. To us, eliminating radon or mold is just as important to your health and the environment as solar energy and wind power.
