Teaching building science to professionals and consulting with companies who want to improve their sustainbility is our mainstay.
I spend time with individuals solving problems on every type of project; commercial, residential, product identification and testing, development and follow through.

-Created GreenClean for Maxons Restoration Company, the first disaster remediation company to apply green cleaning. (
-Wrote Green Policy for Wrenn Brothers Lumber Company (
-LEED AP advisor to Live GreenConnecticut Expo being held Sept. 2010
Started in Construction at the age of ten when my father, who is Finnish, began teaching me the trade. No such thing as "green building" exists in Europe, they just call it "building".
I have been teaching to advance two prime fundamentals: you have to educate to create the incentive to build sustainably and "green building" needs to be renamed "common sense" building. Information isn't enough, if it were we would never see another person smoking, therefore results will change the landscape.
