Experience
We anticipate our first multi-family housing project to be certified LEED-H platinum in early 2012. We have several commercial projects that have been certified gold and silver, several in the process of becoming certified. We have 10 LEED AP professionals on staff including architects, engineers and interior designers.
We are pleased to announce that our recently completed project, The Springs Apartments, in McCall, ID is being honored by Idaho Smart Growth with a 2011 Grow Smart Award. The annual award “recognizes the innovative work of communities, builders, planners, architects, organizations, and developers whose work exemplifies smart growth principles.” The CSHQA team worked closely with The Housing Company and the city of McCall to develop The Springs, which is an affordable, 36 unit housing project, constructed of durable materials using innovative sustainable design principles.
Qualifications
We have several multi-family specialists on staff including two LEED APs. We have consulted with the state housing authority to encourage them to include LEED certification as an option in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Qualified Allocation Plan. One member of our team is a founding board member and former president of the USGBC Idaho Chapter.
