Experience
Company founder has been a proponent of environmentally progressive design for 20+ years, was the first LEED accredited architect in VA (2001), co-founded the James River Green Building Council and has won numerous awards and recognition for his firm's focus on sustainable design and building practices. As such, ALL of Watershed's work is driven by ecological guideposts and social consciousness - - there are NO exceptions.
Qualifications
Watershed's design staff of 4 is fully LEED accredited and at least 2 of us are currently working toward LEED-H professional credentials. Firm principal Patrick Farley is a regular speaker and educator in both the regional public forum as well as the local university arena. He has been certified through American Lung Association Health House, International Institute of Baubiologie & Ecology, Earthcraft House, Solar Energy International (PV system design) and Dominion Va. Power's Energy Efficiency University (1999).
