CMPBS pioneers green building design, construction, methods and materials within an ecological and environmental health context. Emphasis is on flexible, open building systems and regionally-derived and by-product based materials and products. EcoBalance tracks energy (carbon), water, materials, and food flows to baseline and benchmark performance and can scale from single buildings to larger scale communities and regions. Systems integration maximizes the economy and resilience of the built environment, and its relationship to the natural environment.
