The firm, founded in 1991 by principal Tracy Stone as a full-service architectural office, works in a modern aesthetic viewed through a sustainable lens. We push for innovative design that considers the project's impact on the greater environment. We stand for delight and enjoyment, texture, color, light, humor, wit.
We approach all our designs from a green perspective; we utilize local, renewable and recyclable (or recycled) materials and design with a passive solar approach to maximize efficiencies while integrating more active systems where appropriate. Principal Tracy Stone has been involved with sustainable design since 1982. She is a member of the US Green Building Council, the AIA Committee on the Environment, and teaches sustainable design at Art Center College in Pasadena and at Woodbury University. She received her LEED Accreditation in February of 2003.
