With over 20 years experience in the building science industry, GWS is a national leader in going green. We act as third party verifiers for multiple green programs and commercial certifications and serve over 100 Raters as their Energy Star and LEED for Homes Provider. Our philosophy for green buildings centers around the "house as a system" approach. The relationships of wall assemblies, HVAC equipment, humidity and moisture movement play a large role in the sustainability and durability of a home. This philosophy has helped certify over 40,000 homes in the Energy Star program and over 800 homes in the LEED for Homes program.
