Founded in 2007, Paul Wermer Sustainability Consulting coaches homeowners and small businesses on sustainable practices. Paul helps clients navigate through the sometimes confusing process of becoming greener by helping them understand their current situation, areas for improvement, and providing evaluations of materials and equipment.

Paul Wermer has over 20 years experience in green projects; for the past 4 years he has focused on the Ecological Footprint as a tool for evaluating and improving sustainable business practices. Recent building related projects have included: 1. Evaluating and selecting solar hot water system for residential use, including the supplemental heating systems; 2. Evaluating and selecting solar PV systems for residential use; 3. Evaluating a large manufacturing facility’s Ecological Footprint, and recommending strategies to reduce the Footprint; 4. Developing a project scope for a building operations green benchmarking software package.
