Currently the LEED Green Rater on a City of Orlando affordable house project, a Habitat for Humanity project in Seminole County, and another Habitat for Humanity project in Seminole County pursueing a DOE Builders Challenge certification & a FGBC certification

Our goal is to build all new homes and remodels to meet DOE Builders Challenge requirements, which calls for very high energy efficiency ratings, much higher than the current codes. This will lead to most all projects being eligible for EEM's (energy efficient mortgages) and certification of Green Home Ratings. We got involved in the 1970's, trying to make homes as efficient as possible, using the technology available. I designed & built a home in 1992 that today is producing as much energy as it uses.
