Services

I can also work with my clients to receive information and resources for Energy Audits, Green remodeling and supply them with experienced vendors for other green products and services

Experience

In 2005, my husband and I stumbled into Green building technologies when being frugal in designing our next home. We wanted a maintenance free home that would be economical to support on a monthly basis for heating and cooling and didn't want to have to worry about painting as we grew older.

We incorporated an ICF block foundation, Geo-thermal heat and A/C, SIP walls and an HRV air handling system into the design and at completion it was rated as an Energy Star 5+ HERS rating.

Just after foundation pour, our GC walked off the job and we were left to complete the project ourselves. We hired all new sub-contractors and with the help of the building inspectors, were able to complete our home on schedule.

This project is what led me to become an EcoBroker Real Estate Agent in NH.

Qualifications

As a Realtor in Southern NH, I also hold the EcoBroker Realtor and NAR GREEN designations and am a Certified Green Professional with the National Association of Home Builders.

I have been involved with the Build Green NH Council since it's inception in 2007 as a Steering Committee officer and Charter Member and I am currently serving as the Chair of the Build Green NH Council www.buildgreennh.com which is a council of the Homebuilders and Remodelers Assoc. of NH.

My mission is to help as many people as possible enjoy the same features and benefits as we do by living in high efficiency homes, with smaller footprints and better land use.
