4027 Osborn Road
Reisterstown, MD 21136
Service area: 130 miles
Service Area: Our service area for construction is primarily Baltimore and the surrounding counties (Howard, Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Montgomery) but we will work anywhere in Maryland. For straw bale, we consult nationally. Mt. Washington and Roland Park are faves for us.
New construction, renovations, and additions using green methods and materials. We specialize in straw bale, clay plaster and other natural materials. Design/build or work with an architect. Our designs are energy-savvy for both new construction and retrofits.
For seven years our projects have all been green, for clients who desire green but expect the project not to have additional cost. We make careful selections for each project in coordination with the client to meet their individual goals. We create beauty and we have fun. Our projects have included straw bale, clay plaster, green roofs, solar, SIPS panels, permeable pavements, many types of specialty insulation, and onsite stormwater management. We protect indoor air quality during and after construction. We do not use dumpsters as we throw very little away. Our green residential projects have been featured in Urbanite, Style, and Baltimore Magazine. In February, 2010, a Greenbuilders, Inc. project in Reisterstown was featured as the subject of a half hour documentary on Discovery Channel's Renovation Nation, with Steve Thomas.
