Bleach is the last thing you want to use.

Look up the MSDS sheet on NAS12. It says to avoid breathing the mist. MSDS sheets can be found at www.msds.com.

What is the reason you have mold in the AC? Coils need to be cleaned by a licensed hvac contractor no more than every three years.

  • Do you change the filter monthly?
  • Was there a condensate line back up?

There are installed systems for supply side that if once you have the existing mold cleaned, should help keep it clean and mold free.

Is the HVAC system the proper size for the home? I ask so many questions because there are actually several variables as to what caused it to begin with.

  • Cleaning is one part but keeping it from reoccurring is a next step.
