What is the best "Green" floor to have with dogs?

Asked by Bruce Dickinson

I can not do concrete floors. I have two large dogs and worried about durablity and scratches.

I would consider ceramic tile flooring with minimal grout lines. You can find many options with recycled content.

You may want to consider Crossville Ceramics that are:

  • made in the USA,
  • Floorscore certified and
  • have an innovative "tile take-back" program.

The best part is that ceramic tiles are non-absorptive and easy to maintain.
