What is a generic price quote for installing PV-T water heating systems for my home?

We need enough energy to supply us with at least 50 gallons of hot water/day. So far I have been looking at the DAikin AC model and the AO smith model. I would appreciate any help in estimating the total cost including materials and installation.

Unfortunately, with the description given no contractor would be able to provide you with an accurate or even estimated cost for material and labor. And if they did, I would question the accuracy of the cost estimate. These systems are site specific. I would highly recommend that you contact a minimum of 3 local contractors familiar with PV-t water heating systems to assess your needs, building configuration, site conditions, solar orientation and provide you with a detailed estimate to install the system. Also consider storage capacity. The greater the capacity of storage, the more efficient the system. Good luck on your endeavors, Harold J Remlinger, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB
