What are your thoughts on Allure Ultra? We're interested in this product for our kitchen but it is vinyl.

We are concerned about VOCs and offgassing. I read from the manufacturer that it is "low VOC." Can you confirm?

The Allure Ultra product looks to be a certified FloorScore product through Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), which tests and certifies hard surface flooring and flooring adhesive products for compliance with rigorous indoor air quality emissions requirements.

Products bearing the FloorScore label meet the indoor air emissions criteria of:

  • Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS)
  • LEED® Green Building Rating Systems
  • Green Guide for Health Care.

The certificate for this product can be found here. FloorScore is a trustworthy third-party label, and you should feel comfortable using this product.
