Question
We purchased a leather sofa in Feb. and within the last month, my husband and I have been having symptoms. How can we tell if it's the sofa?
My husband had asthma as a kid and it seems to have returned. He has a lingering cough and shortness of breath. I get headaches, a sore throat and a tight feeling in my chest. The sofa was very expensive, so before we get rid of it, we want to be sure that it's really causing the problem. How can we find this out? Should we try an Indoor Air Quality test?
Answer
Put the sofa in storage and see if the symptoms persist.
