We may be getting a new roof. We are thinking about a metal roof. Is that a good idea?

Currently part of the roof on the back side of our home is flat. It now has roll roofing. Would a metal roof work?

If you are planning on using a metal roof on an existing flat roof there is only one type of metal which works best and it is copper.

  • This type of roof must be a hammered-interlocking and soldered flat seam panel.
  • When installed properly it will last with very little to no maintainance.
