We heat with a gas hot water heater and iron radiators. My question is that we do keep our house at 60, but when the temperature is in 20's, the furnace goes on more often and the house seems warmer, even though the thermostat ways it's only 60. Am I right or is it my imagination? I should also state that we don't have any insulation. Our house was built in 1939. We do hope to have it insulated, but right now it's not.
Answer
