Question

We are remodeling a condo kitchen last re-done in 1986. We want sources for green materials. Where can I find resource to help?

We're really struggling to find metal products (like faucets and sinks) that are low-carbon-footprint and made in an environmentally sensitive manner. That is our biggest issue right now in the Los Angeles area.

I would check with BuildingGreen.com, which is hands-down the top resource for finding out information like that. You need to subscribe, and can do so for close to $12.95 for a one-week trial or $199/year.

If you don't find what you need, there are other websites, such as Green Building Advisor, that may help.
