We are looking to replace our floors with engineered hardwood. Is it safe for our toddler?

We are considering Wingwood Amaretto Birch Hand Scraped Engineered Hardwood model 941200192. It features an HDF core and is finished with polyurethane. Will it off gas and for how long?

If you're using Polyurethane and a fiber core, it will most likely offgas and do so for anywhere from 1-3 years.

I would suggest you look at Baltic Engineered Wood Flooring or any other Green Guard certified product.
