The painted ceiling in our bathroom is peeling. We have no ventilation, but we have a window. What do we do?

Our house was built in 1935. The peeling on the ceiling is occurring over the shower. How do we manage moisture in the bathroom? What kind of paint do we need that can handle moisture from three people using one small bathroom?

Consult a Licensed A/C contractor and consider installing the right size CFM bath room exhaust fan. Some come with added features besides the exhaust-fan--- like a heater, night light or just a light.

Sounds like a common problem we see here in Florida with high humidity forming in the bath room and not being removed correctly causing damage or mold growth in or around the space.

Also might want check the insulation level in the attic considering the age of the home!

If your power provider offers a free energy audit--please have them check it and give you the best advice in your area.
