There is nothing in the LEED for Homes rating system that precludes vacation homes as a project type from participating. As with any home, the project must meet the requirements of each section, and enough credits to meet the certification threshold in order to certify. As you work through the LEED for Homes Rating System with your provider, pay particular attention to the Location and Linkages credit category. While this category has no prerequisites, vacation homes sometimes having difficulty earning credits for their location (often previously undeveloped) or proximity to infrastructure and resources.
