Is a garage door insulation kit worth the time and money? Will the insulation make a difference in temperature for a room above it?

Our garage is connected to our house and has a room above it. The garage stays cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

The real bang for the buck is to remove the sheetrock in the garage and use open cell foam on the underside of the room above.

This is the most effective way to warm your tootsies upstairs.
