Question
I'm remodeling my house and I want to know how I can reuse greywater to reduce water consumption.
What are the main steps to reuse greywater, and how can I apply these steps in my home?
Answer
I recently saw a very interesting product addressing graywater use with a convincing concept for simple remodels:
Sloan has started offering a micro system which uses the water from the bathroom sink to flush the toilet. The water gets filtered and stored in a 5.5 gallon tank in the sink cabinet. A small pump fills the toilet tank as required. This is an easy retrofit application for existing homes.
