Question

I'm looking for kitchen cabinets that will not poorly impact air quality indoors.

I live in Tempe AZ, near Phoenix. Most of the people I talk to don't know what I'm talking about. It's hard to get info. I even called Scottsdale Green building program and have got nowhere there too. So far, I only get old contacts for places no longer in business when I look for green cabinets and some other green stuff here. I'm hoping there is something at least sort of affordable out there.

Breathe Easy, is one company we heard about who makes "green cabinets". Their custom cabinets are made with ¾-inch plywood held together with safe, water-based adhesives. For the doors, you could go with solid woods, bamboo, or no-formaldehyde medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Talk to them : http://www.breatheeasycabinetry.com/ Happy Building !
