I have a 7 month old daughter and I am looking for the healthiest and safest wood flooring to install in our home.

We live in California. We are looking to put in a floating engineered floor. Indoor air quality, VOC's and formaldehyde emissions are very important to me.

I would recommend you look at Baltic Wood Floors. They make an engineered system that is available both FSC certified and Green Guard certified for the emissions you are concerned about.

As an architect I have specified this product quite successfully.
