I am looking for a healthy floor covering for a concrete floor. I am converting a garage into an office.
I will have a work space for planning, and an area for starting plants to go out into the gardens. It's a farm office, and needs easy cleaning.
Answer
Most garages do not have a moisture barrier installed below the conrete. This will pose a problem for any type of adhered flooring system.
For the type of use you are proposing, I would recommend looking into polishing the existing concrete floor or applying an epoxy floor finish.
