How much energy is wasted by running a ceiling fan with window open, during the winter while boiler/ heat is running?

In other words I like to run my ceiling fan, and have the window open as well in my bedroom. With the heat on in the house during the winter, it gets really warm and, that air makes the bedroom a little more comfortable. The temp for the house is set a a comfortable level however mt bedroom being smaller the heat sometimes can be over whelming. Is this wasting electricity by doing this?

Basically it all depends on how many watts the ceiling fan pulls while running - there is your waste.

The best thing you can do is get an experienced HVAC or plumber in there to  regulate the amount of heat going to your room. This can be done with dampers, individual thermostats for radiators, etc...
