How do I install a toilet on top of a bamboo radiant heated floating floor? Can it be anchored to the floor?
My contractor has installed the toilet floating above the floor on a separate board which looks pretty awful. He says the floor contracts and expands so the toilet cannot be affixed to the floor. Suggestions?
Answer
Toilets are never affixed to the floor, they are fastened to the toilet flange on the drain. It may be time for a new contractor.
