Does it help to put styrofoam panels on a crawlspace wall to keep cold and dampness out. The floor is already kraft-faced insulated.

Or is it better to apply spray foam

Don't use styrofoam, use Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). They are two different products. EPS will not breakdown nor loose it's R-value over the life of the wall. Spray foam will loose some of it's R-value over it life. Also some sprays contain toxic gases where EPS in non-toxic and non allergenic. David: Kwik-Build Panels
