Does exposed insulation in a basement ceiling need to be covered?

The home was built in 1951 the insulation is newer. the basement is not finished. we are in Cleveland Ohio. is it a fire/health hazard?


Yes the insulation needs to be covered. Per code insulation is not allowed to be exposed to the habitable room.
