Do you have any suggestions for new construction stairs (not using carpet) that would be inexpensive and non-slippery?
The stairs are unfinished pre-fab wood at the moment. These stairs will get a lot of traffic, dirt, water, etc.

I like to use a CARB-certified 3/4" cabinet-grade plywood.
- I installed birch in my own house and still love it after six years of heavy use by my family and four large dogs.
- I router a bull nose on the front and finish with Osmo Polyx oil.
