Can you tell me about systems to collect and save rain water for watering my garden?

I have seen containers connected to gutter systems but I don't know if that is the best idea

Those are generally the easiest to install. As for it being the best for your situation, a lot comes down to why you want to harvest rainwater.

  • How much or how big of a system do you need?
  • How much are you looking at realistically?
  • How much space is available to hold the water?
