Can you recommend a high quality semi-transparent stain for exterior of old lodge exposed to snow & freezing?
It will be applied by professionals (no volunteers). I also need a clear sealer for peeled DF columns. The peeled Doug Fir columns are old, with cracks - solid good wood, but deep cracks.

I think Wood Assure by EarthPaint may work for your project.
- It is an exterior stain for high mold areas and does not support mold growth through the use of Lime and Cashew resin.
- It also has UV / Infra-Red Radiation protection.
